AQUA-WALL Denmark was established in 1993 with the purpose of reducing indoor climate problems in offices by installing an acrylic wall with running water. Due to a patented technique, the indoor air quality is improved in a natural and environmentally safe way when the water trickles down the vertical wall. At the same time, the system is an aesthetic work of water art, which may function as a room divider or as an oasis in any indoor environment. The product is a Danish invention holding a world wide patent.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish AQUA-WALL Denmark A/S, develop Business Plans, budgets, organization, national and international go-to-market strategy and execution

  • In charge of national sales – managing 12 employees

  • In charge of the international positioning and concept promotion. Including market analysis, distributor

    analysis as well as conducting international contract negotiations

  • Build market introduction events, developing training modules/material and conducting structured training sessions for both sales and technical personnel at the individual distributor

  • Plan and design national and international conferences and workshops

  • Product and market development, marketing and business strategy, execution and development for

    National and International markets

  • General human resource (recruiting, terminations, coaching, reviews, career plans etc.).

  • International concept implementation: United States (31 states) Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Great Britain, Germany, France, Italy, Sweden, Norway as well as Greenland and the Faroe Islands

  • Developed the company from 0 to 20 employees

  • 2001 nominated by the Danish Stock Exchange as Gazelle, being the second fastest growing company in Denmark over a four year period.

  • Due Diligence; As of October 2001, the company was acquired by ISS A/S
